As part of their night time routines, my kids are supposed to lay out their clothes for school the next day. Ruby has been doing a really good job at getting this done.
Today when I went to check on her clothes, I found that she had put out for socks: one red soccer sock and one purple soccer sock, both of which are longer than her legs. I asked her why she had the soccer socks and she said she was out of socks. Fortunately for her, we have some clothes that were just washed and hadn't been folded yet and were able to find some white short socks.
Phew!
