Today Ruby told me that when she gets a pet she's going to get a seal. I asked her where she would put it, she looked around, walked over to my desk, pointed to an area and said, "We can just move some of this stuff over and keep it right here."
After I pointed out to her that seals are bigger than I am, she said we could keep it on the floor of the living room. Then I explained that they need to live in water, and she thought we could keep it in the hot tub so it wouldn't get in the way when we use the pool.
I think we'll just not get a pet, then we don't have to worry about it.
