Puerto Rico--Day 4

Today the kids were with their grandparents, so John and I enjoyed a quiet morning together then went out for lunch before meeting up with everyone in Rio Grande. We played in the pool there at their resort, ate dinner together, then took the kids home to get some sleep. Before we got there, they went shell hunting on the beach and had quite the collection by the time we arrived.

There are these little black flies everywhere that seem to have taken a liking to Squig and me. We're both covered. It's miserable. They're so little you don't seem them, but you can feel them when they take a bite out of you. I have bites all over. And they itch. Ugh.

On the more interesting side, we did see an iguana close to the road. He was most uninterested in us.

  1. Do they have any deep fried iguana shops? Deep fried iguanas and piñas gigantes!
